Day 1 : Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erg Chebbi Dunes
Pick up from your hotel in Fes and head south to Merzouga and the Erg Chebbi dunes. Along the route stop in Ifrane, known as the ‘Switzerland of Morocco’ and again in Azrou where Barbary Macques live in the cedar forest. Continue to Midelt for lunch and cross the Tizi-n-Talghamt to reach Errachidia with a break for panoramic view of Ziz valley gorge. Pass through Aoufous and Erfoud (famous wfor fossils and dates) to the dunes of Erg Chebbi (also called Merzouga Dunes). Camel trek for 1-1.5hrs at sunset and overnight in a traditional nomad tented camp. Dinner and Camp in the Deep Desert.
Day 2 : Erg Chebbi Dune-Erfoud-Tinejdad-Todra Gorges-Boumalne Du Dades-Kelaa M’gouna
Wake early to climb a hight dune for sunrise, breakfast and return camel trek across the dunes. Depart for Tineghir, passing Erfoud and Tinejdad, with a break for lunch and visit to Todra Gorge. Continue to Boumalne du Dades or Kalaa M’gouna. Dinner and overnight at hotel
Day 3 : Boumalne Du Dades-Kelaa M’gouna-Ouarzazate-Ait Benhaddou-Tizi N’tichka Pass-Marrakech
After breakfast depart for Marrakech via Skoura, Ouarzazate (Kasbah of Taourirt and Atlas Film Studios) and UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou with a lunch stop. In the Afternoon drive across the Tizi-n-Tichka (2260m) and drop off in Marrakech.
